Alyssa Silva

Alyssa Theodora Silva grew up in Newark, New Jersey. After graduating high school, she attended Arizona State University for her undergraduate degree.  At ASU she majored in Justice Studies with a Minor in Criminal Justice, and graduated summa cum laude.  She also was one of the recipients of the Moeur Award for academic excellence.  After graduating from ASU, Alyssa moved to South Florida where she worked for the City of Greenacres – Youth Programs before attending Florida State University College of Law in the Fall of 2019.

During her time at FSU Law, Alyssa held multiple jobs and internships, including externing for the Second Judicial Circuit and working as a Student Attorney for the Public Interest Law Center’s Children’s Advocacy Clinic. During the summer of her 2L year, she interned at the Florida Department of Health in the Office of the General Counsel. The internship turned into a law clerk position for her last year of law school, and upon graduating, she was both offered a position as Assistant General Counsel on the Litigation Practice Team. She held this position until September of 2023, when she joined Thompson, Crawford, Brown and Smiley as the newest associate attorney.

At the firm, Alyssa practices Family Law, and handles cases involving, but not limited to, divorce, paternity, and child custody.  She is a member of the Florida Bar, as well as the Federal Bar for the North District of Florida.   

When she is not at work Alyssa enjoys going to concerts, going to the beach, and watching her favorite soccer teams.
